Coast Mountain College has partnered with the University of Northern British Columbia to offer an admissions pathway. Complete your two-year Associate of Science Degree – Environmental Geosciences Specialization at CMTN and continue directly into the third-year of UNBC’s BSc (Integrated) Degree program in either Prince George or Terrace.

Our Environmental Geosciences Specialization is a hands-on program with fieldwork being an integral part of your studies while you learn about Earth’s natural systems and processes. UNBC’s 60-credit BSc (Integrated) CMTN Degree Completion Program is available at UNBC’s Terrace Campus, The regionally customized program has a joint emphasis on fisheries and aquatic sciences, and on environmental impact assessment and remediation.

In order to be guaranteed admission direct into the third-year of the degree, you must meet the following criteria:

  • 9.0 credit hours of required courses (including GIS, Professional Writing, and Ethics)
  • 3.0 credit hours of any level of Humanities and Social Sciences
  • 18.0 credit hours of each of two Areas: Biology & Ecology, and Environmental & Earth Sciences)
