ACE for Artists Summer Residency 2019

The Artist-based Aboriginal Canadian Entrepreneurs™ (A-ACE) is a fully funded Artist Summer Residency program of interest to practicing Indigenous artists in BC. Completion of the A-ACE program provides a credit path with advanced standing at Coast Mountain College. 

The A-ACE program focus is on developing business and marketing skills while providing a unique opportunity to work with successful Aboriginal artists and entrepreneurs. In addition to classroom and workshops, participants will work in studios at the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art to explore different media and ways of artistic creation.

This program is offered in partnership with Coast Mountain College, Emily Carr University and UVIC.  Generous support is provided by Western Economic Diversification and the BMO Financial Group.

Dates and location

Program dates  Application deadline 
 May 6 - June 28, 2019  April 10, 2019

Students will live in residence at Coast Mountain College at our Terrace campus during May and June 2019.
