Arlene is a talented First Nation artist and art instructor, driven to impart knowledge of authentic Northwest Coast fine art while simultaneously improving participant confidence and skills. She is dedicated to promoting a love of Northwest Coast First Nation Fine Art, carving and jewelry in all students.

Arlene is a Giskaast from the House of Tsi Basaa. She lives in Gitanmaax near Hazelton, BC. Arlene's art mediums include stained glass, First Nations art design and carving, jewelry, and painting.

After completing two years at Gitanmaax School of Northwest Coast Indian Art she transferred as a second year student into the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art. She is now a jewelry instructor at the School.
