Terrace BC – The Terrace and Hazelton campuses will be closed today due to the extreme winter weather that has seen 40 cm of snow fall in the last 24 hours with more snow to come today.  This has created a challenge for college work crews to keep up with snow removal at the Terrace campus and created some unsafe road conditions.

Students and staff are advised not to attend classes today. Updates will be posted to CMTN’s Facebook official Facebook page, on the CMTN web page, and through local media.

“Safety is our top priority and we want the crews we have on site to be able to get on top of the snow removal situation to ensure when classes resume we have a safe environment for staff and students to return to,” said Acting President, Justin Kohlman.

Staff, students and the public are reminded to check www.drivebc.ca for highway road conditions before traveling.
