Airplane

By air

Terrace is a 90-minute flight from Vancouver with several departure times available with Air Canada, West Jet and Central Mountain Air. Our Terrace campus is 12 km from the Northwest Regional Airport (YXT). 

For the Smithers campus fly direct to Smithers Regional Airport (YYD). For the Prince Rupert campus fly to the Prince Rupert Airport (YPR).


Car

By car

Driving to Northern BC from Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton is a scenic adventure. For information about the drive and the best routes, explore Destination BC.


Ferry

By ferry

Taking the ferry between Vancouver Island and Prince Rupert is a popular option. From Prince Rupert, it is a 90 minute drive to Terrace. The journey takes you through coastal waters where it is common to see whales. Your ferry must be booked through BC Ferries.


Train

By train

VIA Rail trains pass through Terrace travelling between Prince George and Prince Rupert. You will see beautiful scenery not visible by car. Trains don't run every day, so check schedule information at VIA Rail Canada.


Bus

By bus

BC Bus North offers long haul coach service between Prince George and Prince Rupert. Visit BC Bus North for schedules.
