CMTN Foundation Holds Art Contest: "Life in the Northwest"

The CMTN Foundation is holding an art contest along the theme of "Life in the Northwest". This contest is open to current Coast Mountain College students in any program or course in 2023.

Submission Requirements: 

  • A submission must be an original one-color illustration or artwork created by a current student of Coast Mountain College.
  • Theme of the submission should be “Life in the Northwest”.
  • The creator of the illustration/artwork must be the same as the person submitting it for consideration.
  • Submit a jpeg (1 to 2MB, for emailing purposes) of your original  art to cmtnfoundation@coastmountaincollege.ca for judging along with your name, a short biography,  your current student number or the name of the program/ course you are registered in.
  • Artwork size should be a maximum of 12” x 12” and a minimum size of 3” x 3”
  • Multiple entries are allowed.
  • Prize for the winning illustrator/artist is $1000.
  • The judging committee reserves the right to award any number of prizes as they see fit.
  • The committee will be made up of members of the CMTN Foundation Board.
  • In submitting, the illustrator gives CMTN ownership of the original artwork and the exclusive rights to use it on promotional items as well as to auction off the original for fundraising purposes.
  • Participants acknowledge that the winning illustration/artwork may be edited or modified by a graphic designer to suit different promotional products, including posters, mugs and other gifts.

Deadline for submissions is March 15, 2023
