Coast Mountain College and Royal Roads University have partnered to offer an admissions pathway. Complete your two-year Associate of Arts Degree - Criminology Specialization at CMTN and transfer directly into the third-year of Royal Road’s Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies.
Your Associate of Arts specialization at CMTN will provide you with a solid foundation of criminology and criminal justice theory, including law, psychology, sociology, social services, political science and history.
Complete your Bachelor of Arts at Royal Roads University to gain a comprehensive understanding of the justice system, including criminal justice, social justice, human rights, advocacy, conflict resolution, and mediation. Justice Studies is a flexible degree completion program with options to complete 12 months on campus, or two-years blended - short on-campus residencies combined with online learning.
Pathway requirements
Entrance to the Justice Studies program is on a competitive basis and space permitting. Royal Roads University reserves the right to limit the number of students admitted under this agreement.
In order to be granted admission direct into the third-year of the degree, you must meet the following criteria:
- Apply direct to Royal Roads University
- Submit transcripts demonstrating successful completion of the Associate of Arts Degree – Criminology Specialization
- Meet the program admission requirements as outlined on the Royal Roads website
