Student Union & Events Introduction

This recorded session will introduce you to the Coast Mountain Students Union (CMSU) and some of the virtual events happening this year at Coast Mountain College. Meet Golnoosh Namazi, the new CMSU Organiser. If you need support, Golnoosh is here for you. 

Plagiarism & Library Services

This session will teach you how to avoid plagiarism. Become familiar with the services the Library provides students. The Library staff are here to help you succeed.

Take a tour of our Terrace campus to learn more about what kinds of changes to expect this year if you need to visit any of our campuses for the practical training component of your program.

Please note that we have a No Visitors Policy. Access is granted to staff, students and others upon special approval.

Student counselling resources

Coast Mountain College offers free, confidential counseling services to all students who need support.

The Keep Me Safe program is available to all domestic and international students. The service is available 24/7 through multiple formats (call, chat, email and videoconference). You can also download an app called My SSP from the App Store or Google Play.

Here 2 Talk is another online counselling service that domestic and international students have access to. The community resource created by the Canadian Mental Health Association called Here 2 Help is another online service that can help anybody with their mental health.
