Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace Campus, invites applications for a regular continuing Senior Financial Analyst commencing October 10, 2025. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff Scale, Level 15: $2,963.10 biweekly plus a comprehensive benefit plan.

Duties: The Senior Financial Analyst will work to support the Director of Finance by providing financial data inclusive of all of the College and Foundations departments. This includes projects for planning, analyzing, interpreting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, and financial information requirements including Institutional program evaluation and process improvement.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain expertise to ensure a high level of service in monitoring the College’s financial operations
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, forecast documents within and outside of the college’s financial systems
- Oversee the contract database to ensure invoicing/payments have been issued, ensuring compliance with risk management regulations
- Conceptualize the College’s financial structure and have the ability to align and create accounts and budgets in a complex integrated system (Colleague)
- Prepare yearly college wide budgets and many on-going contract budgets
- Prepare and provide substantive assistance to the Director of Finance for all month end and year end reporting
- Maintain capital assets and calculate related amortization
- Coordinate, review and determine completeness of yearend inventory spreadsheets
- Monitor any new or changed government reporting regulations and apply them to the college financial system
- Maintain computerized information systems and participate in their implementation and development to improve efficiency within the college
