Instructor - Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (Terrace/Kitimat)

Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus and Kitimat General Hospital, invites applications for a part-time College Professor in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (NCBNP) (subject to minimum enrolment). Salary will be in accordance with the CUPE Instructor Scale (range: $5,775.84 to $9,255.50 per section)

Duties:  College Professors are responsible for contributing to the academic success of students in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing program (NCBNP). This includes course preparation, teaching and guiding students, providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction in the following courses:

Spring Semester (April 17th 2026 to Jun 12th 2026):

  • NURS 220: Extended Clinical Practicum (1.34 sections)
  • On-site work starts May 1st 2026. April 17 reflects 1 week before the clinical start for prep.  

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Nursing, a current practicing license with the Nursing regulator college (CRNBC), and current CPR certificate along with a minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience and teaching experience. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree will be considered with a combination of education and experience. Successful candidates will be adaptable, flexible and comfortable with change and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
