Microsoft Office 365

Students and educators are eligible for Office 365 Education for free, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools. All you need is a valid school email address. 

Learn more about Office 365 and follow the step by step instructions below to install. 

Step 1

Launch browser and go to microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/office

Step 2

Enter your college email address and click Get Started.

Staff:  Faculty or staff email format is first initial,last name@coastmountaincollege.ca.

Students: Student email format is userID@coastmountaincollege.ca. If you are unsure of your userID, contact the Registration office at your local campus.

Step 3

Click on I’m a student, if you are a student or I’m a teacher if you are faculty or staff.

Step 4

Confirm your account by signing in with your college email address and password.

Step 5

Review O365 Education contact preferences, Privacy Statement, etc.

Step 6

Success! After pressing Start, you may be asked if you want to invite anyone to your contacts, this can be skipped. The final result will be you, logged into Office 365, in your browser. From here you can make use of any of the Office Suite Applications and/or Install Office if necessary.
