Information technology accounts

Depending on your position, you may receive different accounts with usernames and passwords. Please contact your Supervisor or Manager for your account details. Here is a list of some of the most common accounts that employees may have access to:

Service Desk

On Coast Mountain College's homepage you can find the Service Desk. Employees can access technology services, facilities support and so much more on the Service Desk. For Maintenance Work Orders, Security Issues, Printing Services, IT Equipment Maintenance, IT Troubleshooting, and more, just log in and submit your request.

Staff Login - Remote Desktop (VDI)

Employees can access and operate their personal desktop via the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). To access this feature just click on “Staff Login” on Coast Mountain College’s homepage. 

The Portal 

Found on Coast Mountain College’s website, the Portal is a secure storage space for staff documents, guidelines and forms. 

Email Account

From Coast Mountain College’s website, employees have remote access to their work 0365 email. If assigned a Coast Mountain College computer, you will have access to your work email via Outlook. Please check your email frequently. All global emails are sent via the Communications Department.

Colleague

Colleague is an educational enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution designed to support everything from student services to financial management and payroll systems. To learn how to sign in and reset your Colleague password, please review the Accessing Colleague Guidelines.

myCMTN

myCMTN allows employees and students access to schedules, self-serve registrations, transcripts, tuition payments and many other services. As an Employee, you can obtain an electronic copy of your T4 using this account. You can also update your emergency contacts and contact information using myCMTN's self-service features.

Brightspace/D2L

As the College’s online learning management system (LMS), Brightspace/D2L offers Instructors the opportunity to centralize their courses online with the aim of supporting regular classroom work. Please use Google Chrome or Firefox web browsers only as Internet Explorer is not compatible.
