Art Workshop with Jamie Black-Morsette | Terrace
Jamie is coming to Terrace to take part in the 7th Annual Tears to Hope run and graciously offered to teach an art workshop while here.
Tears to Hope Society is pleased to offer a FREE art class with Indigenous artist Jamie Black-Morsette. Jamie is known for founding the Red Dress Project. Her moving displays of red dresses has been installed in museums and galleries across Canada and the United States since 2009, and are now permanently on exhibit at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.
The medium for the workshop will be clay, and it will take place in Waap G̱alts’ap on the CMTN Terrace Campus. There are 40 first-come, first-filled spaces available.
