Campus locations

Student Housing is a close, supportive community where every student has rights and responsibilities. This community supports an environment that allows everyone to live, learn, and grow as individuals. Student Housing provides a strong support framework conducive to educational goals, and a community where students thrive.

Space is limited. We recommend you complete and submit your housing application as soon as you apply to CMTN. Please note that eligibility to live in Student Housing is currently subject to COVID-19 safety restrictions. 

Terrace campus

CMTN’s Terrace campus has a new three storey student Housing building.

The building is equipped with kitchen area on each wing in all three floors. Kitchens include a large fridges, microwaves and stoves. All Housing students have access to free wireless Internet. Each room is equipped with a twin bed, night stand, wardrobe, desk and chair. A large laundry room, bike room, Elders suite, Cultural space are located on the main floor.

What to bring?

You must bring bedding, towels, soap, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. You are encouraged to bring such items as an alarm clock, flashlight, microwave cover, cooking utensils and other small items to make your room feel like home.


Regional campuses

At this time on-campus housing is only available at our Terrace location.  Check out the Living off campus page for resources to search for accommodations in Smithers and Prince Rupert.
