Introduction to Health Practices

A semester-long course offered to high school students.

Pursue a health career and contribute to a healthier world. Enrol in our semester-long course to explore your professional aspirations and develop your academic plan towards a career in healthcare.

Introduction to Health Practices is open to grades 11 and 12 high school students and provides an overview of Health Care delivery in Canada.

Through classroom and hands-on lab work, you will learn about the physical, social, psychological, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and environmental dimensions of health careers in Canada.
