Local artist Sarah Zimmerman of saz art studio will lead this workshop where you’ll immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of spring and the abundance of the river while learning to combine the meditative techniques of watercolor and ink drawing. This workshop will cover basic watercolor techniques and encourage mark making exploration. No experience necessary, just come with an open mind and the willingness to learn.
What to expect:
  • Learn pen & ink techniques for design details
  • Explore the beauty of watercolors in vibrant hues
  • Create art that is inspired by nature and the oolichan run.
Takeaway:

Embrace the therapeutic blend of art and nature and leave with a piece of art that reminds you to stop, take some time for yourself and explore your creative side.
