Women of Steel

The Women of Steel Welding Workshop, offered by CWB Foundation in partnership with Fluor and Coast Mountain College, provides an opportunity for adult individuals to learn welding skills while encouraging them to explore careers in the welding industry, including all types of welding, welding-related and skilled trades careers.

This 30 Hour Welding Workshop will deliver an introduction to welding, including testing to obtain up to 2 CWB W47.1 Fillet Weld qualifications in flat and horizontal positions that is recognized by employers worldwide.

Participants will have access to world renowned CWB Education resources available through an online learning platform - Brightspace powered by Desire2Learn - to complete the theory component.

This workshop has a minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
